Welcome to Precious Pots

Thanks for stopping by my site. I hope that you will enjoy viewing my work, hearing my story and getting excited about the wonderful world of clay. There are five galleries to view and if you have questions I will be glad to communicate via email. If by chance you pass through my area (southern Missouri) I would be glad to have you visit my studio and have tea.

Clay is a wonderful substance and hopefully by visiting this site you will develop a new curiosity and interest in the stuff that has caused my heart to beat and consumed me day and night. My hands are constantly covered with clay and if you come by I will put some in your hands too! Albert Einstein was quoted as saying

“imagination is more important than knowledge” Here's to imagination and what can be created when given freedom.

Technical info - I Throw on an old Paul Soldner wheel using cone 6 stoneware clay, fire in an electric kiln and mix my own glazes. My work is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. I use all safe glazes that are lead free.
